Broxburn United Sports Club & Planet Soccer have teamed up again to bring you our All Skills October Football Camp. Together we have packed this year's Football camp with some amazing skills, 1v1s and Small Sided games to keep the players excited from the second they stand on the pitch till the minute they leave. They will also take part within the camp tournament where they will be given the opportunity to showcase what skills they have learnt.
Camp notes
Welcome and thank you for booking onto our October 25 Football Camp. We know your child will have the time of their life. Early drop off is available after 9am, anyone who turns up earlier will have to wait until 9.45 am. The kids can arrive in alternative footwear to their football boots/trainers if they like (sliders, crocs). As we take them upstairs before the camp starts for a 10 min debrief on what the day entails, facility access, what we expect from them.
What Do they Wear?
Your child can wear anything they want as long as its comfortable and weather related. Same applies to footwear. Whatever the child feels most comfortable in. Could we also ask they wear shin guards if they have them. If the weather is really bad pack extra jackets.
What is available at the Albyn?
Whilst we want the child to have an amazing time our main focus is on safety. No Parents/Guardians are allowed to watch the camps and won't be allowed access to the building. The facility from 10.15am-3.55pm remains locked. We have a tuck shop that we open around 2-2.15pm so your child can purchase Haribo's, Squashies, crisps, chocolate and drinks. Prices vary from £1 - £1.50. If the weather is against us we have access to a TV room and tumble dryer's to dry off their clothes.
What Should the child bring?
We recommend 2-3 snacks, a water bottle and a pack lunch. Also a change of clothes can come in handy. The child can bring their own Goalkeeper gloves and ball (for free time) if they choose. We have a tap so the kids can fill their water bottles as much as they can. We recommend your child leaves their phones at home but if they do bring them they can only be used in an emergency and must remain in their bag for the duration of the camp.
What we expect from the child?
We run our camps on the Yellow and Red card basis. With a Yellow being issued as a warning and a Red card results in them going home. Cards are issued if behaviour is endangering or ruining other participants experience. We base our camps on the safety and enjoyment of the child.
